The third season will be Finn’s last on “Glee.” The star will “graduate” along with Rachel and Curt. Ryan Murphy, the co-creator of the show, said to the Hollywood Reporter he planned it this way: “They were very clearly sophomores and they should graduate at the end of their senior year.”

Cory Monteith (born May 11, 1982) is a Canadian actor and musician best known for his role as Finn Hudson on the Fox television series Glee

In 2009,  Corey Monteith was cast in the Fox series Glee, playing Finn Hudson, the male lead of the glee club and the quarterback of McKinley High School. For his audition tape, he drummed on Tupperware using pencils. The first time he sang in front of an audience was at his in-person audition, at which he sang “Honesty” by Billy Joel. He and Lea Michele, his Glee co-star, were included in Entertainment Weeklys 2009 “Summer Must List”, being named “Summer’s Must Songbirds” for their portrayals of Finn and Rachel on Glee, respectively.

In April 2010, Monteith was cast in the upcoming romantic comedy movie Monte Carlo. In May 2010, the cast of Glee went on a two week live tour with stops in Los Angeles, Phoenix, Chicago and New York City. The cast performed hits from the show and several skits between songs.

On August 8, 2010, he co-hosted the Teen Choice Awards. Monteith hosted the Gemini Awards in Toronto on November 13, 2010.

In January 2011, he shot the feature film Sisters and Brothers with Dustin Milligan. It was announced that Monteith is at the center of a new untitled workplace comedy, starring and co-producing.

The verdict is in on “Franklin & Bash,” and it’s a favorable one for the freshman series.

TNT has picked up the legal dramedy starring Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Breckin Meyer for a
second season. The new season will debut in the summer of 2012 and run for 10
episodes.

“‘Franklin & Bash’ has broken out as a hugely entertaining series with great characters, sharp writing and a terrific cast,” says Michael Wright, Turner’s head of programming. “We’re thrilled that the show has drawn such a remarkably strong following.”

The series has earned decent-but-not-great ratings in its initial airings on TNT, with most episodes
drawing between 2.5 million and 2.7 million viewers. It grows significantly thanks to DVR use, however; TNT says the show’s live +7 average so far this season is 3.9 million viewers, 1.8 million of whom fall in the adults 18-49 demographic.

“Franklin & Bash’s” inaugural season wraps up on Aug. 3.

Check out this trailer for Franklin and Bush.. I have to be honest and say I have only seen the traler for this but am a big sucker for the law drama thing… Do you watch? What do you think?

Mark Wahlburg behind Entourage movie

Saturday, February 4th, 2012

http://tvandmoviereviews.com/9202011 movies trailers and more

Although the “Entourage” series finale aired recently, fans might not have to go too long before seeing Vincent Chase and the gang again.

Yup.. Mark Wahlburg, who is the series executive producer recently reported , “We’re working on [a movie] as we speak.”

The series ended its run on September 11 after eight seasons. The final scene showed Ari (played by Jeremy Piven) receiving a phone call with an offer to run a movie studio after he decided to retire from the entertainment business and move to Italy.

“The dream job he got offered is too good to pass up,” Wahlberg told the magazine about the character’s offer.

The actor later spoke with Extra about the possibility of a movie at the Emmy Awards on Sunday saying, “The guys are going to have to go back to where it started. We’ve been talking about the movie non-stop. That’s the goal.”

The show was not nominated for an Emmy Award this year but Piven won three Emmy awards in 2006, 2007 and 2008 for Outstanding Supporting Actor in Comedy Series for his work on the series.

Series star Adrian Grenier, who played Chase on the series talked in July about filming the finale and called the moment “touching.” He added, “Everyone was so sweet. It actually felt like the last day of school. It was hard to keep people focused. It was funny because the grown men on set were acting like children. Poor David Nutter [director] was trying to get everyone’s attention and get people to finish a scene, but when the end of school is near, it’s hard to really get people to do anything.”

Mark Wahlburg said the series ended “with a smirk and a little bit of a wink and the knowing look that it’s not over necessarily. It’s only just a new beginning. I’m looking forward to what’s next.”

TV and Movie Reviews Dish on Meredith Vieira

Saturday, February 4th, 2012

After Meredith Vieira announced that she was leaving the “Today” show last month, tabloids began buzzing that she was planning to spend her days caring for her husband, journalist Richard Cohen, who has multiple sclerosis.

Not so, the TV anchor tells PEOPLE in this week’s issue.

“It was being distorted, because it looked better to make it, ‘Poor Meredith, she triumphs through it all,’ but that wasn’t the case,” says Vieira, 57. Her husband, 67, would agree.

His reaction to the rumor? “Richard said, ‘What is this? You never tend to me! You won’t even get me a cup of coffee!’ ” jokes Vieira. “I said, ‘I know! This scam is working!’ But enough gets to be enough.”

Still, her family did play a major role in her decision.

Tired of waking up at 2:30 a.m. to tape the NBC morning show, Vieira decided she wanted to spend more time with her husband, whose health has been good recently, and her children, Ben, 22, a recent Stanford graduate, Gabe, 19, and Lily, 18, who is about to leave for college.

“We don’t know from day to day what might happen,” she says. “So why not enjoy life now? It’s very precious, and anyone living with any kind of illness knows that. Health is fleeting, and you need to celebrate it while you still have it.”

What do you think about Meredith Vieria? TV and Movie Reviews loves your comments

TV and Movie Reviews Dish on Colin Farrell

Saturday, February 4th, 2012

http://tvandmoviereviews.com/5182011  movies, trailers and more

Few people know that Colin Farrell’s 7-year-old son, James, has a rare neuro-genetic disorder called Angelman Syndrome. During a recent interview on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” the Irish actor revealed the little boy was diagnosed because of his fascination with water.

James is kind of obsessed with water,” Farrell told DeGeneres. “He’s not a great swimmer but he just loves being close to it and in and around it. It’s one of the characteristics of the condition that he has.”

According to Farrell, “The doctor saw him one day and said, ‘Is he always this happy … and does he always kind of flap his arms like that? And we said, ‘Yes.’ And he said, ‘And how does he feel about water?’ and we said, ‘Oh, water’s fascinating (to him).’ He went, ‘Has he been tested for Angelman Syndrome?’ We didn’t know what that was.”

James’ mother is his ex-girlfriend Kim Bordenave; Farrell first spoke publicly about James’ diagnosis in October 2007, telling the Irish Independent he was “incredibly blessed to have him in my life.” At the time, James — then 4 years old — had just learned to walk.

“When he took the first steps it was incredibly emotional, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house,” he said.

The condition, which has no cure, is characterized by delays in development and severe speech impairment, according to the Foundation for Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics. Some children who have Angelman walk before the age of 3, most walk later, and others never learn to walk at all. Most have happy temperaments and an attraction to water.

“If James gets upset at home I can get a pot and put some water in it. It’s really beautiful because water is such a pure element … there’s something really profound about it,” Farrell shared.

TV and Movie Reviews is Crazy About Pippa

Saturday, February 4th, 2012

http://tvandmoviereviews.com/8142011 movies trailers and more

“Crazy About Pippa” is a one-hour TV special aimed to please those crazies (that’s us!) who are totally nuts about Pippa.

Airing on August 9 on TLC, it’s not the talk show some might have hoped for, but according to the press release, it WILL answer the question: Who is Pippa Middleton?

The Pippa Lovefest will focus on the Brit’s rise to fame and we predict we’ll see in-depth discussions of the following pressing topics: her famous tush, her Sarah Burton-designed Royal Wedding dress, her tabloid-friendly love life and her possible connection (or lack thereof) to Prince Harry.

Why, you may ask, does the Duchess of Cambridge’s little sis deserve her own documentary? Well, her Facebook fan pages have been “liked” over 185,000 times, the “Pippa Middleton Ass Appreciation Society” has received over 237,000 “likes,” according to the press release, and she was apparently offered $5 million to star in an adult film.
Pippa Middleton… a media sensation. TV and Movie Reviews want to know your thoughts.

Elisabeth Hasselbeck speaks out at TV and Movie Reviews

Saturday, February 4th, 2012

http://tvandmoviereviews.com/6102011 movies trailers and more

Elisabeth Hasselbeck, who campaigned for Sarah Palin (oh, and John McCain) in 2008 is now complaining that the former governor is distracting media attention from Mitt Romney.

On a recent episode of “The View,” Hasselbeck used an interesting analogy to argue that the hockey mom’s “One Nation” tour was stealing the thunder from Romney’s plan to improve the economy.

“If I had termites in my house I’d get someone in there who could deal with it,” Elisabeth Hasselbeck, former contestant on “Survivor” explained. “Mitt Romney, right now, his specialty is the economy. I’d have him in there. Here’s why we’re not hearing it: because Sarah Palin’s on a bus and right now she’s manipulating, in terms of media attention.”

Elisabeth Hasselback’s angst against Palin may seem odd considering that in 2008 Hasselbeck guaranteed that if Palin made it to the White House she would fight D.C. corruption.

“Did I mention that this woman, she’s got a real knack for cleaning. She cleaned up house in Alaska. Yep,” Hasselbeck said while introducing Palin at a rally in Tampa, Fla., in 2008. “All that corruption went out with the trash. Now whatever the good ol’ boys are up to these days, that has no place in her state — no place. And Gov. Palin will use that same mop to clean up Washington and…..Wall Street, guaranteed.”

This isn’t the first time the talk show cohost has been critical of Palin. In 2010 Hasselbeck reluctantly agreed with “View” colleague Joy Behar over SarahPac’s use of cross-hairs in an advertisement against Democrats in the House who voted for the healthcare overhaul.

TV and Movie Reviews presents The Big Bang Theory

Saturday, February 4th, 2012

The Big Bang Theory is an American sitcom created by Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady, both of whom serve as executive producers on the show, along with Lee Aronsohn and Steve Molaro, who are two of the head writers. It premiered on CBS on September 24, 2007.

The show is set in Pasadena California and centered on five characters: two roommate geniuses who work at the California Institute of Technology, experimental physicist Leonard Hofstadter and theoretical physicist Sheldon Cooper; their neighbor across the hall Penny, an attractive blonde waitress and aspiring actress; and Leonard and Sheldon’s equally geeky and socially awkward co-workers and friends Howard Wolowitz, an aerospace engineer and a non-PhD from JPL, and Rajesh Koothrappali, a particle astrophysicist postdoc also working at Caltech.

The geekiness and intellect of the four guys is contrasted for comic effect with Penny’s social skills and common sense. Three other supporting characters have also been promoted to main cast status for a few episodes: Leslie Winkle, a Caltech colleague of Leonard, Sheldon, and Raj; Bernadette, a microbiology graduate student who works with Penny part time as a waitress and has dated and recently has become engaged to Howard; and Amy Farrah Fowler, a neurobiologist who was hooked up with Sheldon via an online dating service (courtesy of Howard and Raj, who were later horrified when Amy turned out to be essentially a female version of Sheldon).

When the third season premiered on September 21, 2009, it ranked as CBS’s highest-rated show of that evening in the adults 18–49 demographic (4.6/10), along with a then series-high 12.83 million viewers. On May 19, 2010, it was announced that CBS would be moving the show to Thursdays at 8:00 ET for the 2010–2011 schedule. On January 12, 2011, CBS announced that the show has been renewed for an additional three years, extending it through the 2013–2014 season.

The Big Bang Theory” will make a syndicated splash in fall 2011, when it launches its multiplatform off-network run on the Fox Television Stations and cable network TBS.
