Kristen Stewart Dishes with TV and Movie Reviews

Kristen Stewart has now walked down the aisle in a dream wedding dress and had Bella’s dream honeymoon in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1. But off-screen, Kristen says she still doesn’t exactly feel like a “grown up.”

The 21-year-old star recently discussed her highly anticipated love scene with Robert Pattinson and how Bella and Edward “hated each other” for the first time.

When asked about the highly anticipated graphic birth scene Kristen Stewart stated “It’s PG-13, but it’s pretty graphic and bloody. If it is too much for somebody who is younger, than discretion should definitely be used by parents. But it should be impactful, it should be scary. You have a story about somebody who has been fighting for what she believes in. Bella is going, ‘I’ll die for my baby, I’ll do anything for it.’ I hope it doesn’t scare people, but on the other hand, I hope it does.”
When asked about the soon to be famous love scene Kristen Stewart said  ”The bed stuff was a little bit technical and weird. Every time I was off-camera, I was making goofy faces at Rob to make him laugh. I couldn’t take it seriously. I had fun when we got romantic in the water though. It felt very spontaneous.”

When asked about the wedding “I was so transcendentally weird that day. It was one of the last things that we shot in the movie, and I felt it all coming to an end. I was uber-aware; my nerves were so close to the surface of my skin. I had all of these beats in my head laid out about what I was going to do in those scenes. Like, I knew that there was a moment where you’re supposed to swell and glow. It was intense. The morning we were filming the wedding, I let all the others go to work without me. I stayed in my bedroom by myself and I did not go to set with everyone else. I tried to have the experience of what I would feel before the wedding and what I felt when it happened for real, and I think it came across. I felt good that day.”

When asked about the end of the saga “It’s weird that we are not waiting to go back and do another one, but at the same time, it feels finished. It’s sad and it’s not sad. You sort of have to put yourself into those moments and realize that you should appreciate that they are going by. It’s just time to move on, but I’m sure I’ll talk about Twilight for the rest of my career.”

OK Twihards.. let TV and Movie Reviews know how excited you are.

Julia Robertsm one of our favorite Oscar-winning actresses, is getting in touch with her evil side. In “Mirror  Mirror,” one of two movies coming soon about the legend of Snow White, Roberts
plays the Evil Queen. Lily Collins will play Snow White and Armie Hammer (“The
Social Network”) is the object of her affection.

the fairytale film — which stars Lily Collins as Snow White and Armie Hammer as Prince Charming — has a decidedly lighter and campier tone than Kristen Stewart and Charlize Theron‘s Snow White and the Huntsman (in theaters June 1).

Blah blah blah, her hair is not black. It’s raven!” Roberts (as the Evil Queen) says in the trailer. “And she’s 18 years old and her skin has never seen the sun, so of course it’s good.”

According to Roberts, 43, Mirror, Mirror takes a few liberties in its big screen adaptation of the fairytale classic.

We don’t have the classic dwarves,” she explained on Access Hollywood Livein October. “Our dwarves have different names and personalities than the fairytale.”

Mirror, Mirror hits theaters on March 16.

Miranda Lambert dished on marriage

Thursday, May 17th, 2012

http://tvandmoviereviews.com/8302011movies trailers, in theaters

When Nashville sweethearts Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton got married in May, it seemed like a romance written in a country song–one where, Lambert recently admitted, the guy was already married when they met.

In a recent which aired Monday night on Dateline, Lambert said she immediately felt “this draw” to Shelton when they were first introduced at CMT’s 100 Greatest Duets Concert in 2005, so she tried to ignore the one thing keeping them apart.

“I knew he was married,” said the 27-year-old singer during the interview. “I had seen their wedding picture in Country Weekly. I knew better, like, this is off limits. My parents are private investigators for God’s sake. I’ve seen this my whole life – affairs. Of all people to know better, I know better than this.”

Shelton divorced his first wife, Kaynette Williams, a year after he met Lambert. “I’ve never had that kind of experience with anybody,” Shelton remembered of meeting Lambert in a recent Behind the Music episode. “I was a married guy, you know? Standing up there and singing with somebody and going, ‘Man, this shouldn’t be happening.’ Looking back on that, I was falling in love with her, right there on stage.”

Miranda Lambert added in that same special: “It was just like this draw to each other. It was just sort of this inevitable chemistry.”

Kirstie Alley Dishes on David Letterman

Thursday, May 17th, 2012

http://tvandmoviereviews.com/4202012 movies, trailers, in theaters

Kirstie Alley did David Letterman last night and kindly confronted him and  repeated
some of the “fat jokes” that Dave had said at her expense. Letterman took the
sneak attack in stride, though he did appear to turn a bright shade of red….

David Letterman used Kirstie Alley’s recent “Dancing with the Stars” stint to get some laughs on his show, but the “fat actress” wasn’t going to let it slide. While visiting the “Late Show” last night, Kirstie called Dave out for calling her fat.

“I feel a little estranged from you,” Alley shared on the show. “I thought you loved me madly, but then you would talk about me being sort of… chub.” Dave offered an apology, admitting, “I did make jokes about the weight.”

But it wasn’t about to end at that – Kirstie came prepared to read Dave’s jokes, including this zinger: “Kirstie Alley joining ‘Dancing with the Stars’… if you don’t already own one now might be the time to get a wide-screen TV.” Ouch!

“We do love you,” Letterman explained, saying he thought he had the actress’s approval for weight-related jokes. “If you were skinny, we’d tell jokes about you being skinny… well, probably not.”

TV and Movie Reviews applaudes Kirstie Alley for her sense of humor!

http://tvandmoviereviews.com/962011 movies trailers and more, in theaters

What better to kick off the fall and back to school than with a family event?

Dolphin Tale” is inspired by the amazing true story of a brave dolphin and the compassionate strangers who banded together to save her life. Swimming free, a young dolphin is caught in a crab trap, severely damaging her tail. She is rescued and transported to the Clearwater Marine Hospital, where she is named Winter. But her fight for survival has just begun. Without a tail, Winter’s prognosis is dire. It will take the expertise of a dedicated marine biologist, the ingenuity of a brilliant prosthetics doctor, and the unwavering devotion of a young boy to bring about a groundbreaking miracle-a miracle that might not only save Winter but could also help scores of people around the world.

I believe Warner Brothers hit this one out of the park and it is going to be huge.

So Mel Gibson is heading back to the big screen…. but six weeks later than planned…

Here’s what we know…Two-time Academy Award winner Jodie Foster directs and co-stars with two-time Academy Award winner Mel Gibson in THE BEAVER – an emotional story about a man on a journey to re-discover his family and re-start his life. Plagued by his own demons, Walter Black was once a successful toy executive and family man who now suffers from depression. No matter what he tries, Walter can’t seem to get himself back on track…until a beaver hand puppet enters his life.

Here’s what I think.. Jodie Foster is a phenomenal talent and maybe teaming up with her is a good way to get Mel Gibson back in everyone’s good graces..The Beaver was  slated for a spring of 2011 release but  will open 6 weeks later than planned, on May 6.

TV and Movie Reviews presents The Debt

Thursday, May 17th, 2012

http://tvandmoviereviews.com/7272011 movies trailers, in theaters

The Debt is an espionage thriller that takes us to 1997, as shocking news reaches retired Mossad secret agents Rachel (Helen Mirren) and Stephan (Tom Wilkinson) about their former colleague David (Ciarán Hinds). All three have been venerated for decades by their country because of the mission that they undertook back in 1966, when the trio (portrayed, respectively, by Jessica Chastain, Marton Csokas, and Sam Worthington tracked down Nazi war criminal Vogel (Jesper Christensen) in East Berlin. At great risk, and at considerable personal cost, the team’s mission was accomplished – or was it? The suspense builds in and across two different time periods, with startling action and surprising revelations.

Here’s what I think… with an all star cast and an intriguig plot line this can do nothing but be a moneymaker.

Check out the trailer aand let me know what you think. TV and Movie Reviews is pleased to present the trailer for The Debt. Let us know what you think.

Is there going to be a WonderWoman Series?

Thursday, May 17th, 2012

http://tvandmoviereviews.com/562012 movies, trailers, in theaters

There has been a huge effort to bring Wonder Woman  back to television: One of TV’s best-known creators, The Practice‘s David E. Kelley, has come on board to write and produce a new series project about the female superhero. The project, from Warner Bros Television where Kelley is based, and Warner Bros’ DC Entertainment, will be taken out to the networks shortly. Kelley, who has created several female centered shows like Ally McBeal, has wanted to tackle a contemporary take on the World War II-era Amazon. There have been meeting  with the DC team who also have been looking for ways to launch a new Wonder Woman TV franchise.

The comic book Wonder Woman character has evolved significantly since she first appeared in a 1941 issue of All Star Comics and recently underwent a  verycontroversial  makeover.  See the photo to the left and the hot new outfit?

Details on Kelley’s TV series are being kept under wraps, and it is not clear if the new Wonder Woman aka Diana Prince will be the old familiar Wonder Woman or the redesigned reboot announced with great fanfare this year by DC Comics Co-Publisher Jim Lee. The debate also continues on whether she’ll keep her signature powers and weapons, including her Lasso of Truth, her indestructible bracelets, her tiara and her invisible airplane.

Wonder Woman has presented a challenge both for feature and TV creators. That’s probably because she is the most famous female superhero in the testosterone-dominated comic world. And because she also is a big feminist icon. The most successful screen adaptation of the Wonder Woman comic books was the TV series The New Adventures of Wonder Woman starring Lynda Carter in the title role, which aired from 1975-1979, first on ABC and then on CBS. Carter has since become synonymous with the character. That will certainly present a challenge in casting the role if the project goes to pilot.

On the feature side, a Wonder Woman film has been in development hell for a decade at Warner Bros, with Joss Whedon at one point attached to write and direct for producer Joel Silver. In May, Warner chairman and CEO Barry Meyer confirmed that a new Wonder Woman feature is in development. There has been a concerted effort on part of Time Warner lately to better mine the DC properties across different platforms. The film division is expected to announce a slate of DC movies by the end of the year that would probably include Wonder Woman.

Warner Bros TV has brought DC characters to the small screen before: most recently with the CW’s Superman-themed Smallville, which is in its 10th and final season, and Fox’s Human Target, which returned for a second season. A notable recent effort to launch a new Wonder Woman series came a decade ago with Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman creator Deborah Joy LeVine as the writer.

OK TV and Movie Reviews, what are your thoughts?
