Kristen Stewart rocks the red carpet!

Kristen Stewart arrived at the London premiere of “Snow White and the Huntsman” in a daring sheer and skeleton-detailed Marchesa gown.   Her attempt at something edgy and film-inspired missed the mark and instead her look is more icecapade-appropriate.  Not to mention with all that lace and exposed skin, Kristen must have been cold on a dreary London afternoon with temperatures in the 50s. Click ahead to see her costar Charlize Theron’s see-through skirt and leading man (and new dad) Chris Hemsworth looking dapper as well.

Do you like Kristen Stewart’s gown? Are you excited about Snow White and the Huntsmen?”

Kirstie Alley Dishes on David Letterman

Thursday, May 17th, 2012

http://tvandmoviereviews.com/4202012 movies, trailers, in theaters

Kirstie Alley did David Letterman last night and kindly confronted him and  repeated
some of the “fat jokes” that Dave had said at her expense. Letterman took the
sneak attack in stride, though he did appear to turn a bright shade of red….

David Letterman used Kirstie Alley’s recent “Dancing with the Stars” stint to get some laughs on his show, but the “fat actress” wasn’t going to let it slide. While visiting the “Late Show” last night, Kirstie called Dave out for calling her fat.

“I feel a little estranged from you,” Alley shared on the show. “I thought you loved me madly, but then you would talk about me being sort of… chub.” Dave offered an apology, admitting, “I did make jokes about the weight.”

But it wasn’t about to end at that – Kirstie came prepared to read Dave’s jokes, including this zinger: “Kirstie Alley joining ‘Dancing with the Stars’… if you don’t already own one now might be the time to get a wide-screen TV.” Ouch!

“We do love you,” Letterman explained, saying he thought he had the actress’s approval for weight-related jokes. “If you were skinny, we’d tell jokes about you being skinny… well, probably not.”

TV and Movie Reviews applaudes Kirstie Alley for her sense of humor!

No doubt that runing 25 is a milestone…and when you’re Jennifer Lopez’s boyfriend, prepare for a serious celebration.

According to recent reports, the superstar bought her beau, Casper Smart, a customized white Dodge Ram pick-up truck. A source told the magazine, “Jennifer had planned a fun day to celebrate Casper’s birthday, adding, she “knew that Casper really wanted a truck, and Casper was very excited about the generous gift.”

J. Lo tweeted her excitement for her boyfriend’s big day ”Beau has a birthday we’re so glad we hope its the happiest Birthday Beau ever has!” #singingtweet. HAPPY BIRTHDAY BEAR!!!”

With a gift like that, it’s pretty much guaranteed to be his best birthday yet. Smart immediately made use of the practical present by driving himself and Lopez to his birthday dinner at an Italian restaurant in West Hollywood, where they were joined by friends. A photo of the two in Casper’s new ride shows the couple all smiles.

Lopez has plenty to smile about. She debuted her new, racy video “Dance Again” which features Pitbull and some sexy dancing with Smart involving glitter and blindfolds. Check out the video here at TV and Movie Reviews and let TV and Movie Reviews!

Natalie Portman Dishes on Your Highness

Thursday, May 17th, 2012

http://tvandmoviereviews.com/5102011 movies trailers, in theaters

About as far from “Black Swan” as you can get: The actress stars in the new comedy “Your Highness.” The 29-year-old plays an arrow-slinging female warrior, and in recent interviews, said that the role “is a real departure from anything I’ve done on film.”

NATALIE Portman has denied claims she she stripped for a swimming scene in new film Your Highness.

The actress — who’s pregnant with her first child — says it was too cold for her to take a dip naked, so she used a body double.

“There’s one shot that’s me and the shot of her diving into the water is a body double, because I didn’t wanna go in the water –it was really, really cold,” she said.

Portman recently revealed she’s refusing to buy any baby stuff until she gives birth.

“I think it’s a Jewish thing to be kind of superstitious. You don’t do any of the baby stuff before the baby arrives,” Natalie Portmane confirmed.

However, Natalie says she’s enjoying every moment of her pregnancy and has had no complications.

My back is not feeling great right now, sitting for so long. But everything’s really great otherwise,” she said.

While she has not bought any baby items, it seems Natalie will be purchasing all things blue after it was reported she is expecting a baby boy.

“They’ve only told a very small group of family members and friends that they’re expecting a son. They are so excited. Benjamin cannot wait to be a father,” a source said.

“Natalie  had a big smile on her face. She looked amazing!”

http://tvandmoviereviews.com/962011 movies trailers and more, in theaters

What better to kick off the fall and back to school than with a family event?

Dolphin Tale” is inspired by the amazing true story of a brave dolphin and the compassionate strangers who banded together to save her life. Swimming free, a young dolphin is caught in a crab trap, severely damaging her tail. She is rescued and transported to the Clearwater Marine Hospital, where she is named Winter. But her fight for survival has just begun. Without a tail, Winter’s prognosis is dire. It will take the expertise of a dedicated marine biologist, the ingenuity of a brilliant prosthetics doctor, and the unwavering devotion of a young boy to bring about a groundbreaking miracle-a miracle that might not only save Winter but could also help scores of people around the world.

I believe Warner Brothers hit this one out of the park and it is going to be huge.

TV and Movie Reviews presents Mel Gibson in The Beaver

Thursday, May 17th, 2012

http://tvandmoviereviews.com/05132011 movies trailers, in theaters

So Mel Gibson is heading back to the big screen…. but six weeks later than planned…

Here’s what we know…Two-time Academy Award winner Jodie Foster directs and co-stars with two-time Academy Award winner Mel Gibson in THE BEAVER – an emotional story about a man on a journey to re-discover his family and re-start his life. Plagued by his own demons, Walter Black was once a successful toy executive and family man who now suffers from depression. No matter what he tries, Walter can’t seem to get himself back on track…until a beaver hand puppet enters his life.

Here’s what I think.. Jodie Foster is a phenomenal talent and maybe teaming up with her is a good way to get Mel Gibson back in everyone’s good graces..The Beaver was  slated for a spring of 2011 release but  will open 6 weeks later than planned, on May 6.

TV and Movie Reviews presents Blue Valentine with Michelle Williams

Thursday, May 17th, 2012

http://tvandmoviereviews.com 5102011 movies trailers and more

Have you heard about Michelle Williams new movie Blue Valentine? Its sort of flown under the radar but hit theaters as a limited release on 12/29/2010. You can catch it on DVD now.

The film centers on a contempo married couple, charting their evolution over a span of years by cross-cutting between time periods and stars Aryan Gosling and Michelle Williams

Critics are loving this saying Blue Valentine does the impossible, and captures the uncapturable: to watch this film is to watch two people fall in, and eventually out of, love. Few films have ever done it so well. The critics took it a little further and said that parts of this movie are painful to watch however the performances are powerful and full of depth. I say we check it out even if it’s on DVD

TV and Movie Reviews Dish on Natalie Portman

Thursday, May 17th, 2012

http://tvandmoviereviews.com/movies 5112011 movies trailers and more

Natalie Portman already has her Oscar, and now it may be time to let “Mommy” be the lead role in her life.

The actress is due to give birth to her first child this summer and while 2011 has already been a banner year for Portman, she may be ready to call it quits on the acting front. At least temporarily.

When it comes to legendary Hollywood moms, Portman says that she admires Audrey Hepburn, who made it a point to put motherhood first.

“Audrey made some good choices in life,” she tells The Sun. “More and more I realize how unimportant it is to be in the history books or anything like that. Putting time and energy into your children, that’s valuable. ”

Wise words, indeed. No word yet on when she and Benjamin Millepied will tie the knot, but we wish the new family well on their journey!

TV and Movie Reviews presents Take Me Home Tonight : Review

Thursday, May 17th, 2012

http://tvandmoviereviews.com/5132011 movies trailers,in theaters

Are we ready for a silly mindless comedy? Take Me Home Tonight might fit the bill.

Here’s what we know…Take Me Home Tonight is a raunchy, romantic and ultimately touching blast from the past set to an awesome soundtrack of timeless rock and hip-hop hits. Recent MIT grad Matt Franklin (Topher Grace) should be working for a Fortune 500 company and starting his upward climb to full-fledged yuppie-hood. Instead, the directionless 23-year-old confounds family and friends by taking a part-time job behind the counter of a video store at the Sherman Oaks Galleria. But Matt’s silent protest against maturity comes to a screeching halt once his unrequited high school crush, Tori Frederking (Teresa Palmer), walks into the store. When she invites him to an epic, end-of-summer party, Matt thinks he finally might have a chance with the girl of his dreams. With his cynical twin sister Wendy (Anna Faris) and best friend Barry (Dan Fogler), Matt embarks on a once-in-a-lifetime evening. From stealing a car to a marriage proposal to an indescribable, no-holds-barred dance-off, these friends share experiences that will change the course of their lives on one unforgettable night in the Go-Go 80s.

Here’s what I think.. Adult mindless entertainment.. Grab some popcorn and let’s go to the movies.Critics agree with me saying this movie  has a charming sweetness about it, but Take Me Home Tonight is neither funny nor original enough to live up to the comedies it evokes.

Take Me Home Tonight is rated R and opens March 4,2011
