About as far from “Black Swan” as you can get: The actress stars in the new comedy “Your Highness.” The 29-year-old plays an arrow-slinging female warrior, and in recent interviews, said that the role “is a real departure from anything I’ve done on film.”

NATALIE Portman has denied claims she she stripped for a swimming scene in new film Your Highness.

The actress — who’s pregnant with her first child — says it was too cold for her to take a dip naked, so she used a body double.

“There’s one shot that’s me and the shot of her diving into the water is a body double, because I didn’t wanna go in the water –it was really, really cold,” she said.

Portman recently revealed she’s refusing to buy any baby stuff until she gives birth.

“I think it’s a Jewish thing to be kind of superstitious. You don’t do any of the baby stuff before the baby arrives,” Natalie Portmane confirmed.

However, Natalie says she’s enjoying every moment of her pregnancy and has had no complications.

My back is not feeling great right now, sitting for so long. But everything’s really great otherwise,” she said.

While she has not bought any baby items, it seems Natalie will be purchasing all things blue after it was reported she is expecting a baby boy.

“They’ve only told a very small group of family members and friends that they’re expecting a son. They are so excited. Benjamin cannot wait to be a father,” a source said.

“Natalie  had a big smile on her face. She looked amazing!”

Two and a Half Men becomes Three Men!

Saturday, February 4th, 2012

http://tvandmoviereviews.com/1082011 movies trailers and more

Happy Birthday Angus T. Jones

Two and a Half Men will technically become three men on Saturday, Oct. 8 when Angus T. Jones turns 18.

Angus T Jones, has been playing Jon Cryer‘s underachieving son, Jake, since he was 9,  and has also been one of the most  successful, not to mention loaded, young stars in the biz. Here are  a few tidbits TV and Movie Reviews thought you might want to know:

-He was born in Austin, Texas. His middle name is Turner and he has a younger brother named Otto.

-Jones and his family moved to Los Angeles when he  was 4, but he never wanted to be an actor. Instead, his mom took him to  auditions hoping he could make some money for his college savings. Jones started doing commercials and had a small part in the 1999 film Simpatico. He landed his first major film role, See Spot Run opposite David Arquette, when he was 6.

- Last year, Jones became the highest-paid child TV actor after signing a $300,000-per-episode contract, guaranteeing him $7.8 million over two seasons. Oh yeah, there’s also  that hefty $500,000 signing bonus. Under his previous contract, he  earned $250,000 an episode. The next highest-paid minor on the list: iCarly‘s Miranda Cosgrove ($180,000 per episode).

-Men is notorious for its racy jokes and  sexual innuendoes, but when he was younger, Jones never asked his  castmates or producers to explain the adult humor to him — even if they  wanted to. “At one point I asked him if he wanted to know and he said  no,” Cryer told the Los Angeles Times in 2009. “He doesn’t bring it up with me. He’s not like a lot of boys.”

- Jones enjoys snowboarding and playing video games, including Rock Band 2 and Call of Duty: World at War in his spare time

-Had Men ended after the Sheen debacle earlier this year, Jones, now a high school senior, would’ve been perfectly fine with it as he would’ve returned to school for a full regular year, which he’s  never done before. Education has always been a main focus of the actor  and he plans to go to college. After that? Jones has said  he’s not sure if he wants to continue acting.

-While Cryer told TV Guide Magazine in September that he has not heard from Sheen at all and does not have  his number, Jones and Sheen have been keeping in touch. “I talk to him  every now and then,” Jones told E! “I still want to hang out with him and stuff. We’re still friends. There’s no hard feelings at all.”

So TV and Movie Reviews says Happy Birthday  to Angus T. Jones

The third season will be Finn’s last on “Glee.” The star will “graduate” along with Rachel and Curt. Ryan Murphy, the co-creator of the show, said to the Hollywood Reporter he planned it this way: “They were very clearly sophomores and they should graduate at the end of their senior year.”

Cory Monteith (born May 11, 1982) is a Canadian actor and musician best known for his role as Finn Hudson on the Fox television series Glee

In 2009,  Corey Monteith was cast in the Fox series Glee, playing Finn Hudson, the male lead of the glee club and the quarterback of McKinley High School. For his audition tape, he drummed on Tupperware using pencils. The first time he sang in front of an audience was at his in-person audition, at which he sang “Honesty” by Billy Joel. He and Lea Michele, his Glee co-star, were included in Entertainment Weeklys 2009 “Summer Must List”, being named “Summer’s Must Songbirds” for their portrayals of Finn and Rachel on Glee, respectively.

In April 2010, Monteith was cast in the upcoming romantic comedy movie Monte Carlo. In May 2010, the cast of Glee went on a two week live tour with stops in Los Angeles, Phoenix, Chicago and New York City. The cast performed hits from the show and several skits between songs.

On August 8, 2010, he co-hosted the Teen Choice Awards. Monteith hosted the Gemini Awards in Toronto on November 13, 2010.

In January 2011, he shot the feature film Sisters and Brothers with Dustin Milligan. It was announced that Monteith is at the center of a new untitled workplace comedy, starring and co-producing.

TV and Movie Reviews confirms Knocked Up 2 in the works!

Saturday, February 4th, 2012

http://tvandmoviereviews.com/592011 movies trailers and more

Did you love Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann in Judd Apatow’s 2007 film, ‘Knocked Up?

Reports have been confirmed  that the director is bringing back Rudd and Mann — and their characters — for the next film.

If you remember, In ‘Knocked Up,’ Rudd and Mann play Pete and Debbie, a mid-30′s couple with two kids facing the realities of jealousy and the difficulties of growing older. Ostensibly, they’re the supporting act for Seth Rogen and Katherine Heigl — Mann plays Heigl’s older sister — in their own baby/relationship drama, but the two had such on-screen chemistry that Apatow was moved to give them their own starring vehicle, set for a 2012 release.

No word to date if Katherine Heigl and Seth Rogen will revise their roles.

The plan keeps Apatow’s inner circle in place and in films. Rudd has appeared in seven Apatow-produced films, including ‘Anchorman’ and the upcoming ‘Wanderlust.’ Mann is even closer to Apatow; in addition to starring in five of his produced films, she is also his real-life wife. The couple’s two daughters appeared as Rudd and Mann’s children in ‘Knocked Up.’

Apatow has had no problem pairing Mann off with other men in his films; in addition to Rudd, she was the love interest of Adam Sandler in 2009′s ‘Funny People.’

Paul  Rudd is appearing in the romantic comedy ‘How Do You Know currently and later in 2011 will be seen in the indie film, ‘My Idiot Brother.‘ Mann will have a busy 2011, as she’s set to appear in five separate movies.

TV and Movie Reviews Dish on Farrah Fawcett

Saturday, February 4th, 2012
http://tvandmoviereviews.com/6212011 movies trailers and more
Ryan O’Neal thinks that family problems may have contributed to Farrah Fawcett contracting cancer. “There was turmoil during my love affair with Farrah, a lot of it caused by my family, by my kids — all of them, but particularly Tatum,” he said during an appearance on “Piers Morgan Tonight.” ” I just think if she had never met us, would she still be alive today?….because nobody knows what causes cancer, do they? … She didn’t smoke, she didn’t drink, she exercised every day, and she believed in good health. And then we came along, the four of us. And gradually she got — she got weaker.” Farrah Fawcett died in 2009 at the age of 62.

TV and Movie Reviews presents My Week with Marilyn with Michelle Williams

Saturday, February 4th, 2012

http://tvandmoviereviews.com/1092011 movies trailers and more

Marilyn Monroe has been an icon and a source of fascination for the world ince the 1950s..and now Michelle Williams is going to bring some of that to the big screen.

Here we go…In the early summer of 1956, 23 year-old Colin Clark (Eddie Redmayne), just down from Oxford and determined to make his way in the film business, worked as a lowly assistant on the set of ‘The Prince and the Showgirl’. The film that famously united Sir Laurence Olivier (Kenneth Branagh) and Marilyn Monroe (Michelle Williams), who was also on honeymoon with her new husband, the playwright Aurthur Miller (Dougray Scott). Nearly 40 years on, his diary account The Prince, the Showgirl and Me was published, but one week was missing and this was published some years later as My Week with Marilyn – this is the story of that week. When Arthur Miller leaves England, the coast is clear for Colin to introduce Marilyn to some of the pleasures of British life; an idyllic week in which he escorted a Monroe desperate to get away from her retinue of Hollywood hangers-on and the pressures of work.

Here’s what I think.. Michelle Williams has the acting chops to pull this off and there is already some Oscar buzz..

Out in theaters on November 4,2011 TV and Movie Reviews is pleased to present My Week with Marilyn.
