Vienna Girardi, ex-fiance of  Jake Pavelka of The Bachelor on television, recently debuted a sleek new ‘do, with hair that falls just above her shoulders, as part of what she called “a start to a beautiful new beginning.”

Girardi added that she wore hair extensions before she decided to keep her hair short.

The 24-year-old, who won Pavelka’s heart on the 14th season of The Bachelor, appears to have moved on from her public relationship with him. It was reported in August that she was dating a biochemical student named John Sala. Pavelka said at the time he was not dating anyone.

During a confrontation with Pavelka that aired on a special Bachelor reunion segment in July, Girardi broke down crying after addressing reports he had not been intimate with her in months prior to their split in late June.

“I thought it was because you wanted to wait until marriage or because you were fasting,” Girardi said. “I just want to know which excuse it is because you’ve given me five.”

“To me, there’s more in a relationship than sex and intimacy,” Pavelka had said. “She breaks me down, she undermines me, she’s mean, she’s always right, I never do anything right. This is it, right here.”

Girardi also criticized Pavelka’s move to “run to a media outlet and tell his side of the story” following their split, calling him a “famewhore”. He had told People magazine that he had broken up with Girardi over the phone and that the two had trust issues.
